Title:   An Evidence Based Approach to Porcelain Bonded Restorations



 Porcelain bonded restorations are increasingly popular for the treatment of patients who wish to improve the appearance of their smiles.  This presentation will review the available literature and report on the most important parameters which may determine the long term success of anterior porcelain veneers.  Both in vitro and in vivo investigations will be reported and clinical recommendations for optimal use of these types of restorations will be presented.



Bio:  Dr. Albert completed her dental education at Laval University in Quebec City.  Her graduate prosthodontic training and Master's of Science degree were done at the University of Toronto.  In 2003 she completed the requirements for Fellowship in Prosthodontics for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.  Dr. Albert maintains a full time prosthodontic practice at the Dental Specialist Center in Laval, QC.  She is currently the president of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada and represents the APC at the Canadian Dental Association meetings.  She is also an examiner for the RCDC (C).  Dr. Albert is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists and an associate fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics.
