Title:  High Strength All Ceramic Restorations An Update

Synopsis:  CAD/CAM zirconia based restorations have gained popularity in recent years and expanded the range of clinical applications for all ceramic restorations. However, the quantity and quality of the available data regarding the long term performance of such applications is, at best, vague. This presentation will overview new and existing clinical applications of zirconia based restorations and will try to present ideas as to what may be considered as promising for clinical use, why current complications occur, and what needs to be done in order to improve the treatment outcome.

Course Objectives:

  1. Learn the newest applications of zirconia based restorations
  2. Understand current limitations of CAD/CAM all ceramic restorations
  3. Learn which luting and adhesive agents are recommended for those restorations
