Removable Prosthodontics

3 Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the continued need for removable prosthodontic care.
  2. Review and assess treatment options and gain a better understanding when considering the potential prognosis.
  3. Understand the need for continued maintenance and follow-up of care provided.

Abstract:

Not every patient can afford to accept treatment plans that include implant adjunctive therapy.  By focusing on achieving success with removable prosthodontics, the patient might be able to commit to further treatment as you build trust.  Too soon a commitment to implant adjunctive therapy may require reverting to fundamental needs for removable prosthodontics.  This course will review the need for prosthodontic care and review clinical issues and/or clinical complications that may occur based on the care provided.
