The Second Machine Age: Challenges and Opportunities for Prosthodontics

Digital technology has dramatically altered the landscape of much of the economy and is exerting similar pressures on the dental industry. This talk will focus on some of the trends that have transformed other fields and describe how they are beginning to exert similar transformative pressures on all aspects of prosthodontics, including academics and private practice. It will focus on technological changes that are taking place in today’s environment and attempt to predict the challenges and opportunities for prosthodontics.
